EquipMetric is decision support—not an appraisal, lender, inspector, lawyer, accountant or guarantee.

1. Decision-support purpose

EquipMetric provides estimates, calculations, organized public/third-party evidence, owner-entered operating records and model-generated summaries. BUY, NEGOTIATE, PASS, market, fleet, resale, compliance and other signals are informational screening outputs. They are not certified appraisals, investment advice, financing commitments, legal advice, tax advice, insurance advice, safety certifications or promises of demand, profit, condition, title, resale value or future performance.

2. Your responsibility before a transaction

You are responsible for verifying the asset identity, ownership/title and lien status, physical condition, specifications, hours/mileage, towing and payload limits, insurance availability, financing terms, taxes, registration, permits, transport rules, workplace/operator requirements, contract terms and any other fact material to your purchase or rental operation.

Do not borrow, buy, sell, tow, rent or operate equipment solely because an EquipMetric model signal is favorable.

3. Inputs and assumptions

Outputs depend on the information entered and the evidence available at the time. Incorrect asking prices, rates, utilization, financing terms, insurance costs, reserves, locations or equipment details can materially change the result. Where evidence is thin, delayed or inaccessible, EquipMetric may lower confidence, withhold a conclusion or ask for more information.

4. Public and third-party evidence

Comparable listings, advertised rental rates, availability observations, government guidance and other external evidence may change, disappear, contain errors or differ from actual completed transactions. EquipMetric does not control third-party websites and does not guarantee that every relevant listing, operator, sale or rule has been captured.

5. Beta status

EquipMetric is in active beta. Features, access limits, calculations, categories, reports and pricing may change. Beta features may be incomplete or temporarily unavailable. Experimental rental-operation tools are provided for testing and are not represented as a replacement for a dedicated accounting, payment, legal, dispatch or rental-management system.

6. Asset History and identifiers

Asset History can organize evidence tied to a VIN, PIN or serial number, but it is not an official vehicle-history, title, lien, theft, accident, warranty, service or ownership database. A lack of prior observations does not mean an asset has a clean history.

7. Compliance research

Compliance tools summarize public sources and identify items to verify. Laws, agency guidance and local rules can change and can depend on facts that a ZIP code or equipment category cannot resolve. You remain responsible for obtaining professional or agency guidance when appropriate.

8. Partner and referral relationships

EquipMetric may eventually receive compensation from dealers, lenders, insurers, inspectors or other partners. Any such relationship should be disclosed where relevant. Partner compensation may not be used to alter the deterministic underwriting score, economic math or retained market evidence for a deal.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use EquipMetric to submit unlawful material, scrape or overload the service, interfere with access controls, impersonate another person or business, upload information you are not authorized to share, or use the service to misrepresent an asset, transaction or market.

10. Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an as-available basis. EquipMetric may correct errors, change models, remove unsupported features, limit abusive traffic or suspend portions of the beta. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties that the outputs will be complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular transaction.

11. Limitation of responsibility

You remain responsible for the financial and operational consequences of your decisions. EquipMetric is not responsible for losses caused by relying on inaccurate user inputs, third-party information, changing market conditions, hidden mechanical defects, title/lien problems, unavailable insurance, regulatory changes, financing changes or other facts outside the model.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the beta changes. Continued use after an updated effective date means the then-current terms govern future use.
